View Full Version : Auto-feeder preferences?

I'm always able to spend an hour in the morning before work and about an hour in the evening with my fish, but I'd love to get a more regular day-time meal schedule for them (other rushing home during lunch!) to get some meals in.

So I'm looking into purchasing a good dry-food auto-feeder. Anyone have any suggestions? I'd like something that can handle both pellet and flake to alternate meals, although if it would make more sense just to have two feeders with different food, that would be fine too...

Anyone have any favorites, or any they'd look out for?

Regards,
Lee

Ehiem for flake, not sure about which for pellets. I don't feed pellets.

ON Prime Reef

I have tried ON F2, ON DF, ON BSP but find ON prime Reef to be more than sufficient.

i personally use 2 eheim feeders one for pellets/granules and one for ON flake food feeding my fish 8x per day and then one piece of frozen blood worms in the evening when i am home from work,

seems to be working great for my discus tank, but i've made sure for each feeding i'm not over feeding the discus =)

Hi there Lee,

You won't regret it, try some clams in place of the mussels. This last mix is hitting'em hard! Maybe because it stinks so bad. LOL
