I like it. I REALLY need to get me a piece of driftwood with the root cage like that.

How do the Hatchets seem to be holding up in the discus temps?

Thanks guys. I have more stuff coming to add. Gonna have to figure out where to put it all.

The hatchets are doing great. But they are going back to the shop tomorrow. They have ich and it WILL not go away. And I just dont like them in this tank anymore. I just pulled them out and put them in my quarantine tank that I just set up the other day. Should of listened to everybody and had it going first. But I have dealt with this stuff in the past. It just cost a little money! My house is starting to look like a Aquarium shop. Now I need to set up a grow out tank for some more Stendkers that will be here next week. I new the extra canister would come in handy that has been on the 110 since day one.

Yes water changes suck. I also made the mistake of making my stand a little to tall. Arm pits deep!! I use a ladder so I can put things I need on it instead of going up and down.

The Rocks came from my yard. They are a product of land scapeing and digging fence post holes.

I got the Drift wood from Ebay. Heres a link to the guy its from. http://stores.ebay.com/APetHouse-Malaysian-Driftwood . I will be getting more from him when I set up my 180.

I know what you mean! Just when you think you have it all done. I am never settled for what I've done, always have to change it and then change it and change it some more.

Are you talking about the driftwood on the right? That is from a river that is about 2 minutes from my house. I boiled it for 6 hours. All I had was a huge kettle for canning, so 3 hours per half of the wood. It was a long night!

Yeah, I like the way the root cage comes out like that. Makes it more natural looking. Sorta like a scene from the edge of a stream with a root cage coming into the water.

Well the tear down for the 180 has begun! I have some new stuff coming tomorrow. I cant believe all of the plant debris on the bottom/floating around. Good thing i do a ton of water changes or else I wouldnt have fish left. Gonna have to make some adjustments to my cleaning routine. This is terrible.

I also want to mention how bad I hate snails. There is snail eggs on just about every leaf. They are really bad on the swords.

Got more plants today. They are still pretty weepy from shipping. I cant wait till they get back to how they are suppose to be. My fish are pissed! 3 solid days of messing with the tanks. It took me almost 11 hours to switch tanks Wednesday! I hope I dont find a bigger tank on Craigslist!

I used the rooted drift wood on the right to give the Discus some comfort and a place to hide. There is less lights on the right side as well. They really seem to like the security of the roots. I would like to do some kind of floating thing to give them some better security. Maybe I can find another chunk of roots to cluster up the area.
