They will go away on their own. If you are really trying to get them off, run your hand along the side of the tank to wipe them away. ;)

...and then next time you do a large water change they will all come back and make your sponge filter float (unless weighted) :p

Aging the water will likely cure this....sounds like the co2 releasing from the tap water.
