I know I already posted some pictures of these babies in the photo gallery but I had to represent on Forrest's section. These discus are on a whole other level. Their personality and feeding habits are the best I've seen to date. Thank you so much Forrest! These fish are more than I could have ever asked for and more! Non-stop seafood killers! ;)

Enjoy

Very nice Eddie. Looks like they already have some size on them. With your food and WC regime, I'm sure they'll be monster before long.

Take care,
Kirk

Thanks Kirk, I am hoping so. They only got 1 feeding a day while I was gone away but now they are back on track. I was gone for about 18 days and the wife only did 30% WCs every 2 days. The tanks were DIRTY! Can't wait til they grow out some more!

Take care,

Eddie

Quick update. Here are the uniform growers of the initial group. I've moved 1 Blue Scorpion and the 2 Pearl Diamonds because they were not growing as uniformly as these 5. They are all doing fantastic but these 5 are growing like weeds!

Enjoy

Thumbs way up!!!!

Thanks dnt, I'll have to get another video of them eating during a waterchange as soon as I get another banana ripe enough to make another batch of mix. LOL I had a nice brown one sitting in the kitchen and my 9 year old of all people ate it. She doesn't normally eat bananas and then she goes and eats a rotten one! YUCK :(

Thanks again,

Eddie

Give them another 6 months of that good food and care and they will look twice as nice. I have a scorpion I got from the Forrest/Kenny connection that looks just like yours Eddie, growing like a weed. They are looking wonderful and make all the time and work you do worth it.

Thanks alot Mark, really appreciate it. They are turning out really nice, better than I could have imagined. Gonna make a few tank arrangements this weekend and give these boys a better home (pimp their crib). Something to bring their colors out ALOT. ;)

Take care,

Eddie

I must say that these fish from forrest that we are lucky enough to have are AMAZING!:D:D:D I swear I have only had them for alittle over a month now, and they are showing RAPID growth. I feed like 8-9 times a day with Hikari FBWs, frozen brine shrimp, mysis shrimp, and daphnia...along with ON prime reef flake, and tetramin granuals. the fish love every type of food I throw at them, it all gets obliterated in seconds lol, like a pack of hyenas! Along with large daily WCs of good, hearty tap water lol ;).

point is, in this one month each of the fish has grown ALOT! the checkerboard P seems like it has grown an inch in a month! my blue scorpion was 4 inch when I got him, now hes closer to 5 definatly. Penang has to be rounding 6 inches by now :D its just good stuff guys!

Really if your looking for some quality fish with explosive eating habbits and growth rates, go with Forrest for sure! ;)

It always happens that way doesn't it Eddie. LOL I know how you feel waiting for something and the little one takes it! LOL But I know you wouldn't trade it for the world!!

You have to quit with the pictures! I really just want to buy more tanks for Forrest's/Kenny's fish! That are looking very very nice!!:thumbsup:

Thanks, quite an old thread. My fish are fed my homemade seafood mix, prime reef flakes, freeze dried blackworms, tetra color granules, angel plus 1.5mm fry starter pellet.
