Hey guys Im really really new to this and I have a baby that barely comes out! I think he eating but not as much as the others... any ideas?

Yes, be concerned. The discus is sick. Personally, I wouldn't even bother with it. It most likely will not develope properly, and be sick whenever it gets too stressed.

How long have you had him? Where all the fish in your tank purchased from the same source and at the same time? Does your fish have normal color or is it Dark...Are the fins clamped?

I got them a couple of days ago. This guy gave me all of his discus. I got them on Sunday. 2 bigger ones and two babys. He seems darker but fins look fine.

From the looks of him in the picture he does look sick...can you take a better picture. Other than darker body and not eating what else do you see? I am afraid I may have to agree with Mat and Eddie things do not look good for this little fellow.

He does come out to eat. I'll test my water when I get off work.

Eating is a good sign. If he is eating plenty and staying small, thats not a good sign.
