Hi,

I have around 50 discus fries for sale, they are older than 2 months.

I uploaded some video clip to youtube:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aGO0ShbDFIs

My camera is not good, sorry for the pic quality.

$12 each, they were less than 2 inches but now the 1 st batches are around 2 inches, so I raise the price to $12.
I updated my post to other web site days ago, but I forgot to update the post here.

The fries are smaller, so the it 's cheaper.
I have over 200 fries in total, so I don't have enough time to take care of them, especially now they are growing very fast.

Most of them should be Alenquer (like their father), but some of them could be blue golden leopard(like their mother).

Here is the thread about their parents:
http://forum.simplydiscus.com/showthread.php?t=68336

cash on pick up only.

Thanks
Hongda

One would think someone in the hobby who has done any amount of reading should know.....
It's nice to know if you're selling sliced potatoes prepared in hot oil or young fish.

He is the KING of all of my discus.

Do we rate discus in the discus univ?
I will paste some new pics in that section.

His body shape is excellent, he is golden now, very charming...

Do I need to post this thread in the "buy sell and trade" forum?

I think you posted in the appropriate forum. You didn't just import them, or buy them from someone who did. You raised them yourself. IMO being able to post in this forum is a high honor.

They are growing very fast, I almost don't have enough room and food for them.
I changed the price to $12 to reflect their growth and to compensate for my hard work.

This is a great opportunity for people to pick up some future breeding stock, and a great opportunity for people to get some really nice discus at a very low price. The bonus is that they are locally bred, rather than starved for a couple of days and then shipped half way around the world. If I only had the tank space!

Totally agree Martha! Some quality home grown discus and at $12 dollars a pop, they'd be mine in a second! Wish I lived nearby.

This morning I sold them to Vince's wife at $10 per piece, because Vince had contacted me before I made the price changes.

And I gave her some red guppies for free, they are for friendship between discus hobbyists.

Shall we have a summer meeting near MA?
I would like to go, I also need to buy some discus food, I am tired of cooking food for them by myself.
Hopefully I could be accepted in the contest, so that I can pick up my fries fries :-)

I'm also looking for 4-5 fry to start a tank in MA, mostly as a learning experience for my 9 year old son. No big hurry though.
