Aquarama 2009

Hello guys,

Wish to inform that the bi-yearly Aquarama 2009, Singapore is around the corner....from 26th May to 29th May 2009, I think.

It is the biggest show in Asia. Hope some of you can make it....see you there, guys.

I will be at the Singapore Discus Club booth selling my books. It is also a good meeting point for discus lovers.

I am leaving on the 11th June going to Stanford to witness Dominick's graduation on the 15th.....and most likely rent a car and move aroung Chinatown and S.F. bay...Golden bridge. I have been there but not my family...so would like to bring Helen, Benedict and Sabrina there......they can't wait to eat the sinful in and out burger....ha!ha!ha!

After that, plan to drive all the way to Universal Studio for a day or two as a family of five...then back to S.F. and flying back on the 19th June. Dominick will work a year back in Singapore and after that, back to the States for his PHD (five years).

Very short time....any nice place to recommend?...nice eateries (that's important:p)????

Andrew - hope all is well in the Lion City! I saw you briefly in 2007 at the Aquarama show during Dick Au's presentation on judging. I certainly enjoyed the show and hope to be able to visit Singapore again (it's small, but there are lots of places to see and things to do there - I was busy for 9 days and still didn't get to see everything that I wanted to see). I miss the food - chilli crab is the best!!! delicious!!! The Singapore Flyer wasn't finished back then nor was the new wing at Changi airport.

Sandeep.....another Naked Truth????....IMHO....I was thinking of that too...like Discus, The Naked Truth two or Discus, Walking with the Kings or Discus, Journey of Endless Discoveries.......but finally settled for this simple title which is in fact problem solving book.

Forgive me....and as usual..some grammer mistakes and typo errors. THough there were many offers, I did not engage a proof-reader and as an author, though I have read for countless times, I found no fault during preparation and re-reads....until reading the published copy...ha!ha!ha!...Author's syndrome???

I attended my first Aquarama this year and it was absolutely amazing. I loved it. Spent some time at the Discus Club booth and met Andrew (Andrew -woman from Canada who sat and reviewed your book at length) and Wayne Ng. Had some good discussions with both of them. I have probably 80 photos of the winning discus. I hope to post some of the better ones on the forum in the next couple of weeks.
