I like it, how do you keep the sand out of that corner though?

The spray bar is on the top left side so the water circulates from left to right(looking at the photo), like in a wash machine. All the dirt collects in the left corner from where is much easyer to remove when i clean the tank and the intake pipe is in that corner too.

Amazing tank Arubu! What are tank measurments, water parameters, filtration, lightning, wc regime? There are 7 wilds in there. Any other species beside them in the tank?

Thanx. I'll start with the biotope tank:

375L Rena
Length 120cm X Width 50cm X Height 74cm
Ph 6.0, never checked Gh or Kh
External filter Tetratec EX 1200
Light 2X30W
Stock:
8 wild green tefe(there are 8 i just can't get all of them in one photo)
3 L190, Panaque nigrolineatus, Royal pleco
3 L066, Network pleco, King tiger pleco
9 wild Coridoras sterbai
I change the water once a week (50l-100l rainwater only)

650L Custom made
Length 180cm X Width 60cm X Height 70cm(60cm to the surface of the water)
Ph 6.5-7.5, never checked Gh or Kh
2 X Tetratec EX 1200
Light 2X80W
Stock:
12 Discus
15 silver hatchet fish
20 rummynose tetra
20 wild corydoras sterbai + lots of fry different generations
1 pair german rams
1 pair appistogramma agassizi/fire red
15 Different plecos, 2 blue phantom, 2 green phantom, 2 starlight, 2 clowns, 1 bristlenose, 1 vampire, 1 snowball, 1 stardust, 1 L092, 1 L141, 1 L144
I change the water once a week (20%-30%) with water filtered through 5 micron filter and carbon filter.

Both tanks look excellent, I especially like the idea of the bare bottom corner. :)

The panaques are waste factoryes so having a stronger current in the tank gets all that waste in a dead spot behind the big piece of bogwood on the left side, from where is easyer to remove, and the food falls on the bare bottom part, i have a feeding trap right in the middle of the tank so the current drops it right there

Hi there. Very nice fish and tank scapes... but there is just something about the wilds and the biotype that just draws me in... love it:D:D.. Congrats on your accomplishment.. I'm sure the fish love it too. Sue:D
