Wayne's Blue Knights

Hey all, as requested by my good friend Ed, I'll be keeping a very aggressive chronological development timeline for these little guys.

Each post will be a day and amount of time in my hands.

Current set-up:

29 Gallon tank, single sponge filter, daily 100% WCs, fed only my seafood mix about every hour. There are 3 other 3R2s in the tank with the BKs but the BKs run the tank.

Thanks Chad, I definitely got an inch this month so we'll see how it rolls next month. I'm supposed to go to the Philippines for 2 weeks so that may affect their growth for June, maybe not. :D

Thanks Dan, you know I had to. At least in a bunch of five, there will be some that outgrow the others. With only 2, just not much competition. Looking forward to having them as adults! I love watching them develop!

Sorry about the picture quality, its the wife taking pictures back at home while I am in the Philippines. So it's a 10 day update, they doing very well, only eating twice a day and the wife is doing WCs, 100% every 5 days while I am away. So far so good with minimal work on her part.

51 days in tank, you can see a big difference from day one! :D

Quick update since I got back. Grrrr, I hate leaving town for 2 weeks. These guys are addicted to ON Prime Reef and I have to try to get them back on my mix. Little by little and they'll be back on it. Got one that is just overtaking the whole group.

No major growth changes. My largest BK is in QT for a bad bacteria outbreak. He is recovering well though so he should be in the next set of pictures. A little before and after thing. ;)

Wow, almost a whole month later and I really didn't think I was ever gonna be able to post in this thread again. Well, unfortunately I lost most of my Wayne fish due to a sever outbreak from new fish that came in. These 2 Blue Knights are the last of the mohicans. They just started to become active after their near death experience. You can still see a lesion on the side of one fish in the first picture. Did I ever tell you that I "F"ing hate discus disease! Man I wish I could..........GRRRRRR!!! Obviously there is no growth as they have not eaten or even swam around for a month. Hopefully I can get them back on track and grow them until adults. Cross your fingers for me. ;)

Hey Eddie, they may have taken a hit but other than that small blemish you would never know, they look great. Ready to see you pump them up now.

Thanks Bill, still trying to get them on food but as soon as the antibiotics are finished, its definitely back to power feeding. Maybe I'll be able to use their genes in the future. ;)
