Im thinking of buying a RO system, are there any good deals out there ? or cheap used ones.

I purchased a used on last year. Learn the hard way that the membrane is not good. I recently got the Coralife with pump (does up to 100gpd). I like the unit so far. It's much better than my old ones but it's too early to tell as I've only produced about 50gallons so far.

can you please tell me the pricing. one LFS has a small one for 400 $ another closer LFS has a 40 gpd for 150 $ with no pump. they told me water pressure will do. and then there are the ones on ebay.
is there a particular place where the Discus hobbyist buy their RO system from.

Mine was about $275. I think Dan at EliteAquaria has a good recommendation on an RO. Do a search.

I got repleacement Membranes 100gpd for 24.00 off ebay brand new. I got two for 55.00 dollars and they are still on ebay for sale. You can get anything from ebay cheap. If you can't find them pm and I will look and see where it was I got mine from. Here is where I got mine from,but there are others how have them too.
