Do you feed beef heart in a planted Discus tank? Or do you avoid it cos of the mess it can leave in the water?

I feed bh in my planted tank. I have a clean up crew (sterbais) & other little fish that get into the nooks & crannies to gobble it all up.

135g planted here, I feed SFBB BH mix, no problems. I've Sterbai cories and a leopard frog pleco that make short work of "leftovers" though.

Same in here. 125 G planted and I use Al's BH which I strongly recommend. It all depends if you have a good cleaning crew.

I feed frozen beefheart in my planted discus community. What they don't gobble up, the tetras and corys do.

I feed it in my planted 180 but I make smaller sized chunks to avoid as much mess as possible. But the corys and tetras get there fair share!
