Hi all,

I was wondering what the Simply Discus Sponsors feed their fish?

Thanks for your reply,
Poncho

I import exclusively from Wayne Ng, I try to keep my feeding regime as close to his as possible. This includes burger mix ( 7 parts shrimp 3 parts beefheart) and bloodworms. I also feed them flakes on an autofeeder. The flake mix consists of Kens Beefheart flake, super brine shrimp flake, earthworm flake, HBH meat flake, color bits, sera pellets, and last but not least New Life Spectrum Thera pellets: all mixed together in a ziplock bag. The flakes give them variety in their meals, also its important for me that they are trained on flakes. This is because sometimes my clients dont have the time nor want to go through the mess of making a meat mix.

We feed them homemade beef heart (mixed with vegetables, vitamin B and tiger shrimp), live blood worms, and Hikari frozen worms.
It really depends on the fish condition; if they just arrived or lost appetite, we feed them live blood worms, then gradually change to frozen ones, then finally beef heart.

Thank you!
