Hi all,
These photos are just some non-discus fishies we are playing with here.... many of these photos are for Ryan Smith ;)

A while back Ryan sent me some of his festivums when he moved... if anyone in CT or the surrounding areas wants a neat cichlid for a community tank...Contact me... I have multiple spawns going on here and lots of fry.... Festivums are a great fish and although they have been around for ages in the Hobby....They really are not represented well in the LFS...at least in CT they aren't.. perfect biotope fish!

I currently have 1 pair of angels of the all the thousands I had a few years back...this pair is now my sons... we just set them up a tank to breed in...This pair throws some really amazing fry... hope to update soon with fry shots.

Look at all those cute festivums :D I'm glad to see the parents continued to grow. They started spawning really small and it worried me that the adults were runted.

I'm seeing the same thing with my current batch of festivums. I hope they continue to grow, too. My females are yellow with tiger stripes. They're like totally different fish compared to yours.

Ryan,
I can't get over the difference in festivums... Looks like you'll have to save some of those fry for me! hint hint

My Dominant pair is really giving the others a good chase tonight... if you look at the female in the pic..her tube is down.. these guys are going to spawn again for sure..probably in th next day... they've staked out the top of the driftwood...That'll make 4 spawns in 2 months..this one I am not sure will last...its the community planted tank they are in now...... Looks like they are destined for their own tank again!:D
