Another update, I redid my discus tank again as a fellow fishkeeper gave me a great idea of covering the over flows. So I found a big piece of driftwood I was looking for a stump but still haven't found one so I settled for this on the one side and am still looking for a piece to do the same to on the left side of the tank. Anyway my husband cut the piece of wood to go around the over flow and it looks awesome!!

Left side I will redo when I find another large piece:

Is that a tea cup ray that you have in there?? How big will it get?

I'm also curious as to how big your tank is because it seems pretty crowded to me :) Looks great though!

The tank is 110g 5ft tank and it's not crowded it's just that 5 of those discus probably measure 7". Plus they all like to hang out right in the middle when I am around otherwise they are dispersed more throughout the tank.
There are a total of 10 discus.

The ray is a retic which I think they call a teacup as well. As far as I have read they get to be about a foot across. He's not growing very fast which is nice otherwise I will have to downsize the discus:)

I have a 150watt metal halide and a 36" T5 that I'm not sure what the watts are it's just there until I get a bulb that isn't so blue for the halide.

the BD is the largest and is probably a good 8" I didn't dare measure them when I bought them as the drive from the guy I got them from was almost 3 hours.
