Hello everyone,

Can somebody recommend me a good tank divider for a 55g tank (with its "normal" hood)?a

What will be a good place to buy it (online)?

You can go to Home Depot and look for a light diffuser, the kind used for lights put in a dropped ceiling (we call it egg crate). It's plastic so just cut it to size. You can use suction cups on the tank walls to hold the piece in place. Position the suction cups, one on each side of each edge so that the eggcrate can't move left or right. Hope I'm explaining this well! :confused:
A panel of this stuff comes 2'x4' and it cost me $11.99.

i have not had much luck in the past with the penn plax dividers. they are flimsy and never fit right.

connie's suggestion about using the egg crate is a better alternative. if you go this route, the following make for good suction cups for holding the panel in place:

use poret foam as a divider
