I droped some discus off to this guys house and this is his show tank I just wanted to share and by the way none of the discus came from me.Rick

If you are talking about the one that is reaching the top I do believe it is a lotus. They start as a bulb and you can find a lot of them at Walmart/Petsmart fairly easy to grow IMO

I'm tore that makes me want a big discus show tank, but I also want at the same time a big saltwater tank, all I have for salt is a 55G :mad::argue:

I only wish I had a green thumb. I not only have the talent to kill plants out of water, but the ones in water as well.:o

Looks like he did a good job of setting up the tank woodwork to match the woodwork of the room and door facing. Very nice.

thats not a lotus plant. its called something taiwan. i had these plants in my 125 and it grew tall and just the other day i threw them away but its not a lotus plant. if you look at one of the pics...you can clearly see it has roots and not coming from a bulb but im certain its not a lotus plant.
