Storage container question

I am thinking about buying a 275 gallon storage container used for 100.00 it used to hold iodine is this safe to rinse and use or should I stay away .thanks Rick

What type of container is it? I would probably stay away from it. I found a 250 gallon leg style tank on craigs list for 100 dollars. It was almost new and used to store water. I have often seen 225-275 gallon tote style containers Not sure what they are called-the square ones with the aluminum cages?) for as low as 75 dollars.

It is a tote style looks like its pretty good condition .thanks Rick

Iodine is not safe for fish, so it would depend greatly on how it was cleaned.

I agree. I'd avoid this one. Find one that contained food grade items. I have two of the 275 gallon that were one time use for vegetable oil. I'd be leary about something like iodine.
