I really like those Tefes? on your web site photos Fons...I think they were in the last IMPRESSION page. AWESOME roundness. A great example on how to IMPROVE a strain. Were they from Stendker?...Bill

These are indeed the Stendker Tefe's.
To tell you the truth, in real they looked much better as in the photo's.

Its funny that a lot of those discus being judged did not look that great to me. The ones in the show tanks looked so much better to me. The pair of large blue stendker under impressions 5 with the caption "I want to close" are just amazing! Are they kobalts? How much would a pair like that cost?

I don't know the costs of Stendkers contact Discus Hans www.discus-hans-usa.com he's the Stenker importer in the U.S.A., and yes the Stendker fish were great.

Excellent team work and commendable execution. I am sure its lot of hard planning and sleepless night.
At some point it will be awesome to go thru the event log from inception of idea to end of the show. Superb Fons.

Jos was one of the judges at our championship. He's still breeding, remember when Discus are in your system they will never ever get out. You'll always return back to the point where you've came from.

Indeed Jos is one of the best breeders in Europe. He has moved about two years ago and I haven't seen his new fish room, the old one was amazing and the new seems to be even better.

When I'm at his place I'll make pictures and place them on my website.
