I try to post - but I am not allowed even though some posts have gone through ... so I can't reply to people's questions.

I can't PM because I don't have enough posts ...

This is a difficult site to get started apparently ...

A moderator will be along to help you out here. You will soon be able to join us!

You need 15 posts I believe, before being able to post pictures and if you added a link, a moderator will need to approve your post first. Once you get past 15 posts, you will be fine.

In the meantime, you have my email and I'll be happy to post your pictures and or links.

Take care,
David

Scuba guy, make post 1 and than post 2, post 3 etc, you can do it in my section, I will delete it later, no problem.

In 10 minutes you are on more as 15 posts and your good to go lol lol

Make the posts here:

http://forum.simplydiscus.com/forumdisplay.php?f=114

I will delete them after you're good to go,

Hans

Alternatively, you could go to the pics section and start complimenting people on their fish. Your post would bring a bit of cheer as well. :)

One of the reasons we don't get hit with masses of spam is down to the posting requirements before people can post links and the like. There are many spammers out there that join forums and the like, make 1 or 2 posts then bombard people via pm and open forum to buy the latest and greatest gadget/drug/porn or whatever.

If these limits really cause an issue all I can do is apologise, but I believe the site is much better off because of them.

No problem any more - I'm up and "posting". This is a serious site and encourages 'determined' folks to keep at it.

Is the posting a link requirement that you need 15 posts or does a moderator always have to approve the message no matter how many posts you have?
Thanks

Thanks, Hans... so basically I'll be good to go by the end of today, assuming I don't get terribly busy! :)
