Northeast Council of Aquarium Societies 35th Annual Convention Feb 26-28, 2010 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Cromwell, CT.

"The NEC’s Annual Convention is an opportunity to gather knowledge related to our Tropical Fish Hobby, meet that special speaker, mingle with long-time hobbyists and share your experiences with newcomers in the hobby. We offer speakers and activities on all aspects of fishkeeping from Guppies to Reef Keeping. We encourage everyone to expand your knowledge and socialize with the friendly group who return year after year. This is an educational and social weekend open to all and we invite you to come experience the NEC’s Annual Convention!
The Giant Fish and Plant Auction on Sunday will feature Live Tropical Fish and Marine Animals along with Live Aquatic Plants. This auction is open to the public and all are encouraged to enter lots of fish and plants into the auction and bid on the lots you want to purchase. Many NEC breeders save their best fish for this auction and many of the lots offered for sale are rare or hard-to-find species. The auction lots may be viewed before the auction begins, starting at 9:30am, so come early so you have time to see the lots offered for sale! The Auction will start promptly at 11am."
