I have pulled some new pairs from the grow out tanks and am offering them to Simply members......the tiger snakeskins are proven as you can see and the rest are young pairs who just formed over the weekend and have been pulled and placed in their own breeding tanks....they are not proven yet but are starting to lay eggs already. I am offering them at good prices to reflect that...

yes, this is a neat little pair...as I said they are very young but terrorized the grow out tank...the female looks like the classic rose red with the halo....the male is really different as he is from the same spawn but has developed a beautiful blue sheen throughout the body....probably a throwback of the cross that was used years back but very interesting....could throw some really nice babies...would make a great starter pair for someone...

Eric and I are going to be working with turqs. I hope to breed some good ones to "have his back " while he is working so much all over the place. I have a carnation turqX red turq pair ( awesome shape large 9 bar pair) and another pair of tiger turqXsnake skin pair ( 14 bar great shape ) !! Eric has done a great job raising these discus and all are great shape and nice representitives of their varities.

Also, my fish were very large and Eric did an outstanding job putting them in large bags in a specially large size cooler. No lie, I did a plop and drop and they were begging for food 20 minutes after I placed them in the tank. I did make them wait until morning to eat so as not to upset their digestive system.. but they are eating everything like pigs now..

I can't imagine how exciting it would be to get such a healthy beautiful pair and they begin spawning as soon as they settle into their new home. Wish I was in the position to "pick a pair".

Btw, I'm feeling like I'm living in a fish tank right now. It's been a blizzard here all day, 50+ mph gusts and I can't see across the valley to the next ridges. Arrrg!
