New tank

Ok so Im trying to setup a semi planted tank.

Specs:
- 75 g
- sand subs.
- driftwood with low light plants attached (Anubias etc.)
- No co2 for now
- I need advice on what lights to use (not too expensive)
- 6 or 7 5 to 6 inch Discus.
- Clean up crew

Questions:
Will the plants be fine with no co2?
How much light should I use?
Will I need to dose with excel or something like that?

with no co2 i've done 2.5watts/gal and doses flourish. Got little algae and slow plant growth. you just have to play around with light timing.

I'm no expert with planted, always had a low tech tanks.

A 2x54w t5ho fixture would give you the light you need to do a low tech set up. Some flourish comprehensive for ferts would be good. Excel would be helpful, but not necessary. Excel also helps keep algae at bay.
There is a bit of a learning curve, so keep working at it and don't get discouraged with algae.
