I just bought the Fluval G3 for my 46 gallon bow front planted show tank :D

It was easy to set up and can set the flow rate on the filter. It monitors EC, Temp, and maintance schedual. Very easy to use and clean.

Congrats on your purchase! I just bought a G6 one month used off eBay to check them out. It was a good deal, but I won't be setting mine up for awhile, so I'll be anxious to hear how you like yours as for keeping the tank sparkling clean.

Thanks David I have it set up and it is super quiet. The maintenance is easy too. The price is high but comparable to the Ehime ProIIIe which I was considering and with the $50 off made it reasonable at $389 shipped.

The price would actually be ~$449 for the G6 with discount :D You can get a few discus for that but the ease of maintainance is what sold me
