Cool vids Eddie! I like the Heckle-cross one. How long are you gonna leave the fry with the parents? That's usually the size where I start to seperate them, especially when they are eating other foods that well. Anxious to see how the fry turn out. Take care...Bill

Thanks Bill! I'm thinking a little longer, maybe this weekend. I'm trying to get them to attack the beefheart first. Either way, they eat everything else like crazed wolves, so probably this weekend. ;)

Thanks Kacey! Actually, the BS X BT are catching the Heckel Cross batch and they are 7 days behind them. lol I'm thinking because its a smaller batch and both dad and mom are still in the tank with them. :o

Eating at this point, I would remove them as well. Once they start eating at the bottom, they'll usually take anything you offer, so get them going on what you want them to eat.

Just remember don't keep it too long with the parents, as you problably already know parents are inmune to some level of gill flukes but babies not so much. and they will passed to the fry.
But I think you got all figure out like a pro you problaby are.
