Thanks, I took them from Dad so he is alone. The fry will continue to take Golden Pearls for quite some time. There are different micron sizes so I'll just keep stepping it up. But they will have LOTS of heart mix and flakes as well.

LOL, not at all........drain it down to fry level, lift the entire tank and gently poor them into the 50. :D

Thanks Al, just a small set-up consisting of 11 tanks (4 X 55g, 1 X 50g, 2 X 29g and 4 X 20s). I run straight tap to all my tanks except fry and breeder tanks. The fry and breeder tanks get aged/conditioned water from a 100 gallon water storage set-up. So all in all, only about 500 gallons.

Thanks Joe, havent really counted, tried once or twice but once I get to 50 they are intermingle. I'd say less than 200 for sure but I don't really know. :o

Thanks Vera! Actually, the tank is as dirty as could ever get at that moment. Took those pictures in the evening before bed and I change water in the AM. No clean up crew, just good ol elbow grease. :D I'm super impressed with how these guys are doing now, growing like MAD....daily. ;)

Yup Scott, I sell them in batches online. If I need to make space quick, off to the LFS for credit. ;)

Nothing special Hal, just a jager heater, simple sponge filter and a bubble wand to keep the golden pearls circulating through the tank. This blue tank is a 50 gallon.

Slowly but surely, nothing impressive about their size but I am thoroughly impressed with their shape and lack of defects. I am ONLY feeding them Golden Pearls (6 times a day) and an occasional snack of Bill's SBH Flakes. Too bad I am leaving for the US, these would have been nice to have around. :o

Thanks Kev, I haven't even tried to count them, they move to fast! I know there were close to 150 to start with but I've culled a few here and there and had a couple go down from eating to much seafood mix. Hence why I am only feeding GPs for a while. I'll get them on my mix later on down the road. Maybe 120, give or take a few. ;)

I do love their shape, finally got my water down to a science.

Yeah, its cool though, got the wife handling the business while I am away but still, they are not going to be fed like I would normally feed them. Still gonna get daily 100% WCs. We'll see, doesn't matter too much, I'll get the pairs back in their breeding tanks when I return. ;)

Yup, no more power feeding, but I'm sure they won't lose their awesome shape :D but as you said, you could always get another spawn from your pairs when your back and start another batch of fry.

Oh, and remember to take lots of cool pictures while your there at the NADA show :D
