Hey Rob. Hope all is well. The fry are from two batches. One is Stendker Fire Red and the other is Stendker Red Turk. You can check out the link on my first post here to see pics of the parents and the fry as they progressed from free swimmers.

Bob and Rod, you guys are doing a great job with those fish. The Fire Reds are incredible! I wish I had some room right now, I would take at least 6 off your hands. I hope that you get more for sale in the future; I will not be able to resist.....right over the Outerbridge, and I'm there for any future Fire Reds available.

The Turq's are sweet.

Bob - Rod - I will make sure to spread the word round here locally. I have a few buddies in the hob might be interested.

Now maybe you guys can breed some Leopards! LOL

PE's are nice. I'm wondring though - what would that be like - a small group of Red Spotted Leopards and a small group of PE's hum...

Do you have any turquoise left? I would be interested in 6. Since I'm new to the forum I can't PM you, could you send a message to me? I live about 45 minutes west of Woodbridge.

Thanks,

Steve

Hey Larry. They were grown out in a 20 gallon high tank. Yup 150 fry in a 20 gallon up until July third when they were moved to a 56 gallon. They were in the 20 up to 6 weeks I believe it was and they grew steadily at a 1/4 inch per week. It worked out great although consistent clean water was the key. Two 100% water changes were done per day.

Hello Steve. You can you send me an email?

Bob

Yeech! No, I can't send an email until I post 2 more times, well here's one.

While I'm typing, what is the water quality that you've raised them. My well water is high (8.0) so I'll need to get that down. On my big tank I use c02 to keep it at 6.5, but the bare tank only has a sponge filter.

Here is post #5 so now I should be able to PM and email. Can't say I've been on a forum with that requirement before.

I have a 110 Amazon Biotope tank with 4 adult discus and other Amazonians. My current discus are all solid colors so I'd like to get some variety.

I have a 29 bare tank set up and I'd like to get some young 'uns in there to see if I can get a breeding pair...not to make a million but for fun. The others will go to the community tank.

Hey Bob,
The little guys are eating like monsters, doing great. And thanks for the great deal on the big guy. It was worth getting lost.

Thanks again,
Eddie

Still have some Fire Reds but anything left after Sunday will be going to a local fish store that does a nice job with their discus and wants these. Therefore, only 4 days left to get some until the next batch is ready.
