2inch plus fry for sale, Albino's may be a little under. The father is an Albino Leopard intermediate, and the mother is and Albino Pigeon Blood. I have about 1/3 9 bar fry, 1/3 Pigeon based, and 1/3 Albino's. I am selling 9 bar and Pigeon based $10 each, and not sure of price of Albino's can make me an offer. The none Albino's are Albino intermediate F1's so should produce 25% Albino's when inbreed and 50% when crossed with a pure Albino. These guys have received the best care, just over 6 weeks and already 2inches. PM me if interested need to go fast need tank space for a new batch and don't want to sell to my LFS.

Thanks Eddie wish I could send some to you they seem to grow more everyday, this will be real fun feeding, doing the 2 water changes a day, and in couple days start hatching bbs for the batch of Leopards that just went free swimming, then still have to take care of my other tanks, like a full time job. I thought breeding was suppost to be fun LOL:D.

Hi Larry,

All the best to your sales of the gorgeous frys. They looked very healthy and are well fed and taken care of....if you decided to keep some as future stock we can't wait to see how they will progress in a few months. A great way for hobbyists in your area to raise some healthy frys!:)

All the best and enjoy!

Thanks Kenny, they have had the best care I can provide and they are all looking good and still growing like crazy.
I need to have a word with you my friend sent me fish that get it right the first time and in hard water, thats the only reason I am selling these guys now, got another batch of fry. I asked you for males an females of the Leopards not breeding pairs LOL:D
If you want very fertile fish get them from Kenny, I ask him for a male and female of large fish and he always gets it right and start laying eggs right away. He won't promise you they are male and female but I think his track record proves it!!!
By the way I think Forrest is feeding the male fish viagra LoL:).

Thanks again, Larry.

Larry,
I've seen alot of home bred fish and I have to say, you've done an excellent job on these...and at the price they are a steal.. If I had the cash right now and a tank...I'd take the whole batch! Those fish are really nice and I think are going to be some very nice stock as adults. I'd proud to own some. The care you put into them really shows.

Best of luck with the sale!

Thank you so much Al, really makes me feel good that someone with your experience can see the time and effort I put into these guys, I could not have done it without the knowledge I have gained from SimlyDiscus and the members that are on here!!! I really hope they will go to someone like you that will take care of them and raise them out right. Trust me they are a steal I am losing money on them, you just have to love what you are doing. Thank you again Al!!!

Larry,

I cannot agree with Al more on the high quality of your frys; they are clearly very well taken care of and this unrelated F1 cross of yours seem to have the potential to produce some very interesting and clearly, very healthy Albino frys(Great Job again!) together with their intermediate siblings. Keep up the awesome job and although I'm being repetitious here, I love the shape of your frys and the condition they are in!:thumbsup:

MrYin,

All the best with the new frys from Larry, I can assure you couldn't have gotten them from a better person and also you got them at a real steal.:)

Not that you'll need it Larry, all the best to your sale.

Hey Brian, thanks for the very nice comments. It is an honor that you chose me to purchase your first discus from, and I will do my best to meet what you expect. From our conversation I am very confident you have the knowledge, tank space, and willing to put in the effort to raise these guys into some large beautiful discus. I look forward to meeting you very soon, and as I said feel free to call me anytime now and after you take them home, Larry.

Thank you so much Kenny for your kind comments!!! None of this would have been possible without you, I think of you as a great friend and always there when I have a question. I hope to have half the knowledge about discus that you do someday, I think I have come a long way but still nothing like you. I love breeding discus and have some great stock from you to work with, but for me I think it will just be one spawn at a time, you were right breeding is easy but raising nice fry right is allot of hard work:)!!! I know you don't breed now but not in a million years would I want your job, Your love of discus truly shows by the time you put into making sure the fish you supply us are clean and healthy, and getting them to us in such perfect condition. I really don't know when you sleep. Thanks again Kenny my friend.

Anyone looking for good quality discus, other than fry trust me IMO you will not find better than Kenny.

Thanks and I am sorry again I feel bad because I know you really wanted the ones we talked about. I did find out the water company was treating the lines, and something in the stuff sent my PH through the roof:(. I am very upset and mad at the same time why can't they at least put a letter in the mail when they do stuff like this, and they still claim should not affect the PH. Larry.

I regret to tell everybody my fry are gone along with a pair that had fry, I got up this morning drained those tanks first and checked the temp in my aging barrels then started pumping it back in was not running for just a min and saw fish jumping all over. I stopped the water but lost all of them starting running test and when I tested the PH it was over 9, from 7.5, I called the water company and found out that yesturday they ran stuff though the lines to clean them and never even told anyone:mad:!!! They claim it would not affect anything but they lie my PH was off the scale so high. All the work I put into those guys and feel so bad about it plus the great pair of Leopards that had fry on there back all gone just like that:(. The fry were almost all sold just had not been picked up yet so now returning money and letting all the buyers how sorry I am. I feel so sick about this, makes me want to just give up. Again I am sorry to everybody!!!

So sorry for your loss, Larry. I can understand how you feel. I went through the same thing before but in different situation.

All you can do is hold your head high and don't let this bring you down. I know it's hard to do at this time. Don't let this setback keep you from your enjoyment. Take care of business first then come back and be more prepared than before.

I hope this will go over soon for you. Let me know if I can help with anything.

Hey Derek, thanks so much for your kind words and yes I will be starting back up I still have some very nice Leopard's from Kenny that I can put togather and get them going, just going to relax for a little while and put some more things togather so everything is being monitored.
Right now my water goes through a sediment filter and carbon block then into barrels where it is aged and heated, but never had a problem with PH as long as I age it. But this was because of the stuff they ran through the line, the water company sent someone to my house today and I had saved the rest of the water in that one barrel so they could test it with there ph meter that can read allot higher, it was 11.8!!! They said I must of put somthing in it, but I expected that they are not going to tell me the truth.
But I am glad to say everything is back to normal with my water now and was able to do a water change on my other tanks:thumbsup:
This is an enjoyment for me and no I won't let this take me away from it, but thanks again and if do need any help it is very nice to know I can count on you. Larry
