Discus color loss?

Hi.
I have a pearl pigeon discus that is fairly new, as well as a checkerboard discus that I have had awhile and I've noticed that the red in them seems washed out. The Pearl pigeon had beautiful deep red patterning on it, and I noticed today that the red is dull and the yellow is more dominant. The checkerboard's red also seems to be "faded". Is this something I may have done? Is this a normal thing? Lastly, is there something I can do to bring back the vibrant red? Thanks.

Might be stress or water related. Whats your water parameters like? How often do you perform water changes? Did you skip quarantine and add the pearl pigeon in with your existing stock?

It good be that you bought colour enhanced fish. What you can do is add sweet paprika to your beef heart
