Lifespan?

I have own my 5 discus in my 80 gallon tank for about 5-6 years now. What is the average lifespan of Discus? I never owned a Discus for longer than this before.

Whats the oldest Discus have you guys own or owned?

In optimum conditions they can live for 10 years.
