Hey I need help!

I have a black moor, and I think he's got swim bladder disease. He still makes an effort to swim, but lopsided, kinda runs into things, occassionally corkscrews. He also stopped eating and doesn't open his mouth to breathe? But his gills show that water is somehow flowing through?

What do I do?

Euthanize. Probably the best thing to do, rather than watching a slow death.

jenna, if you search u tube, there are directions on how to make a sling and float to keep fish upright. It is extreme, but depends on how attached you are to fish

but wouldn't he still pass anyways? to my understanding, this is incurable :(

jenna,
Here is a good link if you caught it early enough. I never had good luck with curing swim bladder disease.

Thanks for the links guys, but I don't think I caught it early enough. I noticed he was swimming oddly a few days ago, but I didn't put two and two together. He was nearly dead this afternoon, so I euthanized him. Always so sad! :( I loved my golds so much

Maybe keep some greens in their diet. They eat everything anyway.
