Well I have been dinking around with his tank for a long time trying to get happy with a look. I think I can leave this for a bit. I can NOT get good pictures. I am camera challenged!

I use Photobucket to embed my images, I downsize my image to 800x600 or 640x480 prior to uploading to Photobucket..

Very nice! I especially like the wood in the center that goes from top to bottom. The cat seems to enjoy the aquarium too! :fish:

Too much stuff on the bottom for poop to get trapped under. Otherwise, it looks OK. :)

Im not worried about poop at all. I have homemade tools that attach to my drain/fill hose to reach anywhere I need to get to. I would never limit my imagination over something like poop. Seems ridiculous to me.

The stool is always in front of the tank for him!!! He meows non stop if its not there:D

Oh ya the angels are going into an angel specific tank. I have Stendkers in this tank they were just camera shy!

septic service!!! Thats me. I do a 50% wc twice a week. The first of the week I spend a lot of time getting around rock and under wood. I rescape every few months or so. Longer if I like the scape and do a thorough deep sand cleaning. I work at home so time is on my side. My canisters get a full rinse(with tank water) twice a month so I dont have debris settling to thick. I run 2 500gph sunsuns and am getting ready to add a third smaller version. I use a 15ft drain hose that drops about 8 feet from my window so it picks up a lot of velocity and the suction is amazing. I used different plastic fittings to achieve different angles for the suctioning of hard to reach places. I have also found that before a good filter cleaning I run a koralia 4 for about 5hrs and it blows most of the settled debris around and it is picked up by the canisters. I also suck about half inch of sand from the top layer about once a month and slowly over a couple weeks re introduce new sand. I like it to look fresh. Next tank is a 10'x3'x30" custom built tank for my fish room in the basement of my new house im building. Thats next summer though:(

wOW that wood is awesome!! How do you get it to stay in place? Is it just resting against the glass?

I collected the wood and cut it to length so the top and bottom keep it in place until it sinks. The big pieces are malaysian driftwood. The skinny gnarled are collected from a creek about 40 miles from my house.
