Has anyone had any luck growing this at 86 degrees it's says it doesn't like more than 82 but I know sometimes the rules of plants can be stretched. Just wandered if anyone had so I can get some as I don't want to buy a load for it to just die
I have in my past planted days. Not really by choice though, my tanks sit naturally near that temp or more. Just as fish, there seems to be an acclimation period at first. If the plant is healthy and conditions are met, it will take of just fine if not it will wither away soon.
I have a little theory in that I believe the emerged plant is better at acclimating to the new environment by sending out new submerged growth, the emerged dies anyway. If added as submerge form, it may be wise to lower temp a first and then slowly over the course of time increase it.
My thoughts on it anyways...
Do you really need to keep your tank at 86 degrees??
