I have a 150 gal. tall tank. It's not planted at the moment, but I have found that 1-96 watt pc retro kit from http://www.ahsupply.com/96watt.htm will allow you to grow anything you want in it, and only costs $59.99 plus bulb. The kit will fit easily into your stock 48" strip light housing as well for a clean look.

Go with T5HO over PC; they offer the same light intensity but T5's run cooler, are easier to install and better light distribution. Look at the Current USA 48" 2x54W T5HO.
