Nhamunda Blue Moon Heckel

Nice looking Nhamunda Heckels...but technically for it to be considered blue moon the front half of the body should be solid blue with no striations at all, at least with solid shoulders/foreheads.

Here is a group of Nhamunda Heckels I had, only the two in the center of the picture would be considered 'blue moon' quality. But they are definitely the nicest strain of Heckels out the

Those fish are very nice. I wish my water was more compatible for keeping heckles. I would have a tank full of them. Looks like you are doing a very good job with them.

All are from Nhamunda river , north area , PH 5,0 , Conductivity 10 - 20 us,temperature 26c
