Hi Al, Is this the fish you were talking about on a thread ? We have these in our rivers and no one realy admire them. I finally got time to get two and put them in an aq to do a video. let me know if u can see them ,if not, i will put one in my hand and take a pic.

Okay, can see the video now,took forever to load on my Ipod. LOL They look like young Blue Acara. I wonder what they are?

Yep! I was checkin out that link u sent Eddie, and its truly a blue Acara, they are all over in the drains at the back of my house and in all the rivers in this country together with the Guppy wich originally came from here. there is another darker blue Acara, i will go catch one of those in the river and take some pics of them at the river itself.

Cool fishes , they fight like hell tho ' !
u must have tons of Endlers as well , i read they originate from Trinidad

What do u mean by Endlers?As i was taking the video they were fighting each other. I thought they were a pair. By the way the bigger one is 4 inches.

OH! Yea!, I will do a video tommorow at the front of my house in the drain and scoop up some . They are all different colors, the only thing is their tails are not big like the highbreds

Do You want some liz, The common name we call them by is Million not guppy. they are by the millions in the sewer's(we call it drains).one scoop with my net and ill have a million shipped to u .

If you could do that for me that would be sooooo very awesome!!!! They are hard to come by here. When they are they are cheap. Let me know then.

Thats a good idea, I will see what i can do to get some shipped to the us,they are by the millions down here. I will show you all a video tommorow of how common they are down here.

dude if i live where you live i would never buy fishes, i'd just hop out back and scoop up some, to bad i can't do it here in Minnesota, the streams and small rivers has a load of nice looking natives, but if the dnr see me doing that without a permit i'll get fined.

Nope u would not like to live here, we cant even get a good heater to buy down here, not even good Discus. The most colorfull fish we have in the rivers are the guppies and then the blue acara comes in second. What is the dnr?

A permit can't be too much can it? I don't think they're very strict about enforcement, but the license for the year is like $15 in OH (actual price may vary, but not too far off).
