Auto Feeder for FDBW

I was wondering if any one was using these in an automatic feeder and if so what are the results? If these can't be used like this then what would be recommended? i have a 215G community discus tank with 14 discus.

I think this will work fine . The only thing I did not like using them for was flakes.
