My 8 new tefes from John (Snookn) in their new biotope!

Hi everyone just wanted to show off my new Tefes I received from John on Tuesday. They are doing really well. They started off with Al's freeze dried black worms yesterday that they loved and today they even ate some immune boosting flakes from Angelfish plus! They seem to have adjusted quite well and are swimming everywhere.

The tank is not as dark as it appears although it is dark with a brown background, peat, and almond leaves ( I probably didn't need both). Also please excuse the glass I made a mess when I was acclimating them and didn't want to clean and frighten them. Hope you enjoyed the pics anyway. I'm quite happy with my purchase from John and he was extremely patient with me! :thumbsup:

Hey Lizz, they look good. They are out and swimming about, looking for feed. They are showing their bars a little but could be because of your brown background. I do not see a darn thing wrong. Very nice fish. I like. ;)

Thanks I was playing with black and brown paint and spraying it with a water bottle so it ran alittle. It came out looking like wood!

Thanks dees I was trying to copy your tank since I love it so much! It's a very poor copy though, I agree it needs more wood I was being cheap and using leftovers but I think I'll order more thanks!
