Last summer I acquired a used Oceanic 100 aquarium as a craigslist buy. The stand and canopy were redone. Vera and DiscusMama asked me to post some pictures of the canopy so here they are. The canopy consists of two pieces where the top sits into the frame and can be completely lifted off the frame.

Looking down the long side the top piece sits inside the frame and consists of two pieces connected with a piano hinge.

Here is the top open and pulled away from the back.

The top lays flat

Moving the canopy to get into the tank.

Thanks Keith, a very well designed tank. You can even clean the overflows.

yep looks great. Having to take the whole Canopy off what what made me decide against it. But may have to reconsider with these modifiations.

Thanks, I have slid to canopy over to the brace like in the last picture. Allows access to the whole side.
