pH 6.0?

hey all, is the pH 6.0 good for my discus? I've heard that 6.0 is pretty low for discus :(

Discus naturally come from acid waters anyway, a PH of 6 is fine. It wouldn't hurt to read about the basics of keeping discus on the "Discus Basics For Beginners" page. Good beginners info to get you started. :D

Yea, I havent used any chemicals except for water conditioner

Just make sure you check your kH and keep it around 4 to prevent pH crashes.

pH of 6 is great as long as it is stable. As stated above, drastic swings in pH are not appreciated by your discus IMO.
