do anyone here use neverkink commercial hose to fill up your tank? i got it from lowes and it says not safe for drinking but wondering if its safe to use it to transfer water from my barrel to my tank.

If it is not safe for drinking then it is not safe for your tank. It will be treated with anti-mold and anti-fungal agents. Not good for fish.

You'll probably get mixed responses from people who use regular hoses and those who use drinking-water safe hoses. Personally, I ask why risk it? They cost about the same and remove one factor that could potentially harm your fish. i didnt know they had those types of hose, ill probably go return these hose and get that one, thanks.

Those are call Marine & RV hose ....... drink water safe and only a few bucks more than those regular garden hoses.......I also use them

Not that I'm recommending it, but I use the neverkink with my tanks with no problem. I also use the cheapo ones.
