broken eheim pro?

I set filter back up after doing tank move, when I primed it it started running then will begin to sound like its chopping at water instead of circulating. Will work fine for around a minute then stops. Any ideas?

Air in the impeller? was this filter shut down for a few hours? maybe problems your having with fish?

Nah Jim it was perfectly fine until after the tank move. I have my 2215 right now but this ecco pro won't work. When it goes out there is 0 eTernal being pushes through spray bar.

I don't know that filter, but some have a thin plastic/ceramic rod that goes through the impeller, if you took it apart it may have got broken, but I know air in the impeller can make it sound funny too. try to loosen the return hose at the filter and see if air/water comes out. sounds like your having fun tonight!!

Tell me about it... I walked in from a 7 hour drive from Destin Florida and have had crap since.... But one good thing did come out of it all.. I only have 1/4 inch of pfs now so its easy to clean!!! Lol maybe the noise is where my gbr went?? Hmm
