There is a house rule that you need to post 10 times before you can post photos, that's what the hold up is. Welcome to Simply, I will be glad to see your tank when you have put your toe in the water and gotten 10 posts under you belt.
Best regards,
Harriett

a couple of clown loaches will fix the snail problem in no time at all!

I have read here many times that clown loaches don't go well with
Discus. The fast swimmers disturb the Discus. I had a terrible
snail problem a year ago because they came with some plants
that I got. When the lights came on they would start swimming
up the glass and I would just start killing them. I had a bout
with trumpet snails and when I did a water change I would just
start picking them out of the sand. This has worked.

I had severe problems with snails. Then, one day, I didn't. The only change I made was to only feed beefheart before water changes. I bet if you up your water changes for a while you might see their population decline without having to get loaches or assassin snails.
