pests in your live plants

Has anyone ever had problems with bug bites while dealing with your aquarium? I have live plants and notice some small red fleas for lack of a better description jumping around on the surface.

I noticed that I have been getting several bug bites every time I mess with the tank. Just wondered if anyone else has had any problems.

I have never notice flea, bugs or and bites with my tanks.

do they look like this? If so, they are Springtails and should be harmless...
