My mom has lately been about the top of my aquarium of being to bulky...so since ive been hearing that one of the best filters are the canister type i thought of making one. I've seen a lot of videos of DIY canister filter...So here comes the question should i keep the overhead or should go with the DIY canister filter? If the canister how big should the canister itself be for a 35 gallon and I say DIY because there aren't many available canister type filters here in the philippines.

I'm not shipping...I posted it in a few local forums and CL. I'm asking $100 for both or something useful in trade. I'm not sure how much it costs to ship, but I imagine it's at least $15-20.

I am also moving to hood filters.

I spent some money and went to eheim canisters...and now switching back

My emperor 400 cleans much better and is easier to maintenance
