What in anyones opinion would be the best grow out water for juvies. My tap water is rock hard but cut it with r/o to 200ppm tds.

tap water is fine.. if you start mixing and matching.. there is room for error.. the fish want consistency..

So am i right in thinking then Warlock that you can adapt the Discus to your own water and as long as the water parameters stay roughly the same with water changes etc, they will be ok?

I used my ro waste to grow out fry and it was about 375+ tds I have not used higher but some have. I think you would be fine but someone who has actually done it would be better to say.
