It looks like a pickle barrel that was converted into a rain barrel. Look them up on craigslist I know they sell them all over in NC.

Brian *I* didn't pain it ('wish I was that talented...). a local guy did. here's the craigslist ad: http://charlotte.craigslist.org/grd/2711615186.html
not cheap.....but I could NOT find anything remotely suitable for my home interior. altho my SO informed me this am "I do NOT like it - it looks crazy!" (not a fish fanatic like me LOL).

That guy is sitting on a gold mine!

My wife is only "tolerant" of my hobbies, too. I guess it balances us out.

I've been keeping fish longer than we've been together so I think she knows her place :)

"tolerant" is a good descriptive................fishkeeping is relatively new to me (<2yrs), so it's 'tolerated' right now LOL.
SO GLAD I was *home alone* when I flooded the living room today while operating my new submersible pump

That guy is sitting on a gold mine!yeah, & he doesn't know it! he sells them mainly as rain barrels. IF they were marketed to the aquarium community, I'm betting sales would increase.

Bet there are a lot of SO ads on craigslist too. :) Sorry to hear about your flood, that looks like an awfully nice room to flood. I'm glad for you he wasn't home too.
