I have flash backs when i see your signature. I have a 75 gal community tank that a rainbow flew 3 feet into the air and was luckey enough to end up in my aging barrell. Had a little water spill one day when my wife screamed so loud that one of my discus flew out of the tank between the gap of the glass top, where the plastic piece was supose to be. Found him 3 to 5 minutes later on the floor and 4 months later is still alive and well.

Ever heard the term mutually exclusive? These two items aren't. :D

Really Keith?...A poll started for this?
(I voted already. I knew right away)
I remember years ago when I was keeping African Tangs and lost what was an $80.00 fish back then.
Nothing takes the wind out of your sails like a dry fish stuck to the carpet.
Haven't lost a discus that way, knock on wood.

How about dry being stuck between the back of the tank and top of the corner. Died upside down and wedged. Stiff as a piece of unreconstituted lutefisk.

Now you have to admit, it is interesting that either everyone got it immediately or never got it.

This poll might have been better posted in your homesteader area.

On a serious note: It should serve as a warning to the rest of us. Thought I think, if you've kept fish for a few years, you've been in that situation. However, sometimes it takes two or three times for us to get it through our heads. So, the reminder is well taken.

Though, sometimes I just forget to close down the lid to a tank, since I have to go to a few different tanks at feeding time.

Keith,
Is that lutefisk the stuff I saw on Bizarre Foods that's made with poison?

No, it just sometimes tastes that way. :D

It's a traditional Scandinavian dish of cod that been' dried to as hard as a bone with salt that's been reconstituted. Usually served with a cream sauce.
