How much does sound bother discus? I'm thinking about converting my garage into a man-cave and having my entertainment center and discus breeding grounds in the same space. Will loud movies and video games (I have kids) bother the discus?

Thanks,

Scott

They get used to the noise and should be fine

I had two breeding pairs on top of my entertainment center and they never cared! They bred and cared for the fry even when my Maiden was playing loud!

When I'm cranking Priest in the fishroom, the wife complains before the discus.

Hi,

I just added discus to my 280 and the first time my GSD barked they got upset, now, after 2 days they are not bothered at all.

LOL

I got a new sub for my home theatre a few months back and was a little worried whether the fish would freek out or not.

They pretty much go about their business.

I am an old punk rocker and my fish do not care when the music is shaking things off my bookcase. The only time mine actually freak out is when my dog's tail hits the tank stand.
