Black spots??

So this is probably a total newb question, but why do a few of my discus have black spots on their noses? They have been that way since purchased from the LFS a while back. .... I know, I know rookie mistake. I'll be contacting the master Hans in the future for an order.

Any way to get rid of the spots?

The spots are called "peppering" and happen in pigeon based strains of discus if they live in a tank with a dark backround and substrate. I also think that stress and poor water quality are contributing factors to this but I will let the experts correct me on that if I am wrong (I am a newbie too).

A little spotting is natural in pbs but better if as little as possible. The fish should be fine. Lfs arent always bad especially if they sekect themselves from the good dealers as mine does.
