replying to post

Hi
When I reply to a thread it never appears on the forum. I hit the reply button, then my post just seems to disappear. What do I have to do? I am rather computer illiterate so any help would be appreciated.

When you type your message do you then hit the "post quick reply" button?

I'm having big problems submitting a thread, tried 5 times and always says message to short please add at least 1 character

Are you typing in the first post and the title of the thread before selecting "Post Quick Reply"?

The problem is.. Ur typing INSIDE the quote u are quoting.....

So the program is telling u that ya havent actually typed anything...itbonly sees ur QUOTE..
Type outside of Quotes

the only time is ever get the "NEED ONE CHARACTER" error.. is when i trying submit a post. WITHIN a quote.. i feel the james.. second op.. maybe confusing.. submitting thread.. for submitting post..

Thanks for the replys guys but i can't start a new thread, i can reply to other peoples threads but not start my own, also can't PM people:(

James, what happens when you click on +Post New Thread button? Do you get a page that has an empty post and do you put in a title and then text in the relevant places??

Op.. At very bottom left..of ur window in simply...it will tell u what ur "POSTING PERMISSIONS"..
They should all be yes...

Yes id do Paul but when i click post thread after creating my thread it just says ad at least 1 character and my thread has deleted itself so try again and same thing keeps happening.
In the bottom left it does say i may do all things.
I'll try a quick post now and if it fails i'll post a pic

It seems to work if i add pics but not otherwise, oh well i'll just have to add pics to all my threads:)
